The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is known as PSAT/NMSQT. It is a standardized test that more than 3.5 million students in the 10th and 11th grades take.
Preliminary could be indicated by the letter "P" in PSAT. However, it could also mean panic. Many universities and colleges require students to take either the SAT or the ACT as part of the college admissions process. But is the PSAT significant? Offering the PSAT is a good substitute for doing so. Additionally, the PSAT gives you the opportunity to practice for the exam earlier in high school, frequently in the 10th or 11th grade. Even better, the PSAT makes you eligible for scholarships for college.
